Increase Access to Skilled Trades Training

Identifying a local need for better access to skilled trades training, the GVES and the Skilled Trades Alliance work with community partners to advocate for competency-based training to support employer requirements and demands. We are working to expand local skilled trades training opportunities.

Build a Community Network focused on Economic Growth

The GVES provides networks, key contacts and potential ideas for expanded post-secondary partnerships dedicated to local training opportunities. With your support, the GVES can continue to be strong advocates for those who want to make our communities stronger by ensuring they have the necessary supports and vital links to create a seamless and accessible regional Centre for Educational Excellence.

Advance Educational Opportunities

The GVES is diligently working with employers and post-secondary partners to create and provide critical training and local educational opportunities for our communities. Local accessibility to training can reduce barriers to post-secondary education for the citizens of our communities.

Public Transit and Accessibility

The GVES is focused on acting as an advocate to improve access to business, employment, and education-based opportunities through public transit. This includes improving access to the Cainsville and Brantford Airport Business Park locations for employers, employees, training providers, and students.
